Can the washing machine fall out of the cupboard during the spin cycle?

No. With a correctly assembled Wastoren® cabinet and a properly installed washing machine, that should not happen. Our cabinets are developed specifically to absorb the load and vibration of a washing machine and dryer safely.

The stable construction, the metal base plate and correct fixing to the wall keep the setup firm and safe, including during the spin cycle. On top of that, the complete Wastoren® construction is independently TÜV tested for safety and stability.

Are you still getting a lot of vibration? Then the cause usually lies not with the cabinet but with, for instance:

  • a washing machine that is not level;

  • transit bolts that have not been removed;

  • an uneven or springy floor;

  • an unbalanced load in the drum.

So always check that the washing machine is installed correctly and that the cabinet is assembled according to the instructions. That way you can be sure of a safe and stable setup.
